What if you could help us produce daring and innovative programming; restore and preserve historic monuments and architecture; offer students an opportunity to learn about history, science and nature; and provide a Philadelphia community a place of recreation and respite? You can do all that and more as a Member of the Friends of Laurel Hill Cemetery.

Keeping the cemetery open daily with free admission, a small staff and limited resources, the Friends work hard to ensure that this irreplaceable National Historic Landmark remains accessible to the public. Your support makes our work both possible and worthwhile. There is no better way to show that support than through the Gift of Membership.

NEW - The Friends of Laurel Hill Cemetery is proud to now offer members at the Supporter Level and higher North American Reciprocal Museum Association (NARM) and Reciprocal Organization of Associated Museums (ROAM) benefits. In addition to the great benefits you already receive, you now have access to more than 1,350 partner organizations combined throughout North America, including many right here in Philadelphia.

NARM is one of the largest reciprocal museum programs in the world, with members in the United States, Bermuda, Canada, El Salvador, and Mexico. It is made up of 1,013 arts, cultural, and historical institutions along with botanical gardens, children’s museums, science & technology centers and more that offer their individual reciprocal benefits - with Laurel Hill Cemetery being the FIRST, and currently ONLY cemetery on the list!

NARM benefits include*:

  • Access to visit as often as you like without worrying about admission fees
  • Members discounts at other NARM member institutions’ shops
  • Member discounts on ticketed events
  • Knowledge that you are supporting local arts/cultural institutions

ROAM is another reciprocal network that connects world-class institutions for the benefit of our Members. Formed by a group of Museum Membership professionals, ROAM is built to work for everyone, museums of all sizes and types.

*Note that some institutions restrict benefits. It is recommended that you contact the institution prior to visiting in order to understand the benefits given by that institution and avoid any confusion.

For more information and a list of participating organizations, please visit N.A.R.M. and R.O.A.M.
