Themed Walking Tour on Saturday, June 4 from 1 to 3 PM at Laurel Hill Cemetery
Meet residents of Laurel Hill Cemetery’s Central and North sections who arrived at their burial plot wondering how they got there so soon. These were ordinary citizens who were in the wrong place at the wrong time and suffered a very sudden and quite unexpected demise. You’ll meet a young boy who wished he hadn’t played hooky from school that day, a gentleman whose routine visit to the dentist did not go well for him, and a young businessman who couldn’t possibly have imagined what fate had in store for him. For these and others on the tour, their fate dealt them an early grave.
