Themed Tour on Sunday, June 12 from 1 to 3 PM at Laurel Hill Cemetery
Most Laurel Hill residents lived at a time when it was illegal and/or unsafe to be out as an LGBT+ person. Neither sexual orientation nor gender expression was mentioned in obituaries or cemetery records. Nonetheless, Laurel Hill has always had queer residents and we will meet some of them on this tour, including a cemetery founder, lesbian artists, and 21st century gay activists. Join us for this special tour in honor of Pride Month!
