SOLD OUT! Members-Only: Digging in the Cemetery - An Exploration of Laurel Hill's Archives

On-site program at Laurel Hill Cemetery on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at 6:00 PM

SOLD OUT! THIS PROGRAM IS NOW FULL

Members-Only programs are exclusive to active members of the Friends of Laurel Hill & West Laurel Hill Cemeteries. As a benefit of your membership donation, supporters are invited to get a view of both Laurel Hill Cemetery and West Laurel Hill Cemetery that no ordinary visitor will experience with special programs, lectures and tours.

The treasures to be found at Laurel Hill are not only underground - they can also be found inside our vast archives. Join Carol Yaster, the Friends’ resident researcher and genealogist, and Friends’ Weekend Coordinator, David Gurmai as they explore some of the less-often-seen items in our expansive collection. From letters and telegrams, to guide books and historical maps of the cemetery, take a look at all of the history housed inside the cemetery’s collections.

This members-only program will take place on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at 6:00 pm at Laurel Hill Cemetery, located at 3822 Ridge Avenue, Philadelphia PA 19132. This program is FREE to all active members but RSVP is required. Early registration is strongly recommended. Space is limited, and tickets are on a first-come, first-served basis. *PLEASE LIMIT 1 TICKET PER MEMBER. There will be no waitlists available for this program.
