Join West Laurel Hill’s Arborist and Horticulture Specialist for a tour of the Great Trees at the cemetery’s certified Arboretum. Visit some of the giant oaks and weeping beeches that have been growing since the cemetery was founded, as well as some of the flowering cherries and magnolias that add beauty to the landscape. We will discuss how trees benefit wildlife, provide important services for humans, and help to cool our planet.
The walking tour will take place on Saturday, May 11th at 11:00am, departing from West Laurel Hill’s Conservatory at 225 Belmont Avenue, Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004. Free parking is located right in front of the Conservatory. The cost is $15/person or $12/members. Tickets can be purchased at the door or online.
