The 2010 Gravediggers' Ball will take place on Friday,
October 15th, 7:00pm at the Crystal Tea Room, Philadelphia.

Enjoy an evening of dinner and dancing, while supporting the city's most unique cultural treasure and historic gem! Last year, over 375 guests attended the Friends of Laurel Hill Cemetery's Fundraiser in support of our cause! We invite you to be a part of another unforgettable evening in 2009, as we celebrate the Ball's 5th year!
The event will be held at the CRYSTAL TEA ROOM in downtown Philadelphia. Black tie or costume is requested. New musical entertainment will be provided by JELLYROLL, "the most sought after, award winning, premier dance band in the Philadelphia region..." The evening will include both Silent and Live Auctions! In addition to our band, entertainment will be provided by sketch artist, Simon Mauer; medium, Carolann Sano; and vintage photographers, Tsirkus Fotografika.
Tickets for the Gravediggers' Ball are $150 per person, or $1,200 for a Table of Ten. They can be purchased ONLINE, through the cemetery office at 215.228.8200, or by completing and mailing the attached INVITATION & RESPONSE CARD with your payment. Now more than ever, the Friends of Laurel Hill Cemetery need your help in meeting our 2009 fundraising goals. Proceeds raised from this year's Gravediggers' Ball will directly support the preservation and restoration of Laurel Hill Cemetery, one of the country's most unique and sacred National Historic Landmark sites.
The Friends invite all interested volunteers and members of the community to serve on our EVENT COMMITTEE. If you have time and energy to spare, new ideas to share, and an enthusiasm for Laurel Hill Cemetery, this is the perfect opportunity to become involved.
